THC Prevents Infertility in Male Mice With Cystic Fibrosis

Cystic fibrosis can disrupt the endocannabinoid system, which plays a role in reproduction.

In this study, male cystic fibrosis mice treated with THC early in life were fully fertile as adults, while untreated males were infertile.

The treated mice produced litters and pup numbers comparable to healthy mice, suggesting THC helped restore normal reproductive function.
